Zekrom and Reshiram free for Pokemon players in October

Zekrom and Reshiram, the legendary pair from the Unova region, will be free to download this month.

From October 5 to October 21, Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon players have the chance to snag the pocket monsters. Zekrom is available in Sun and Ultra Sun, with Reshiram free for Moon and Ultra Moon players.

The beasts come with some different traits depending upon the version you get. Here are the details:

The steps needed to download the Pokemon are as follows.

1.  Open your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
3. Select Receive Gift.
4. Select Get via Internet, then Yes to connect to the internet.
5. Watch as the Legendary Pokémon arrives in your game!
6. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Legendary Pokémon.
7. Be sure to save your game.

Zekrom and Reshiram are undoubtedly two of the most detailed creatures in the ever-expanding Pokedex. Though they’re from one of the more disappointing entries in the franchise, I can’t help but love the story behind them. Zekrom is based on the concept of yin and has the ability to control thunder; Reshiram, on the flip side, represents yang and controls fire.
