Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution updates cards to 10,000+

Konami has released a brand new trailer for a Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution update on Nintendo Switch. The free update is being released alongside the release of the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. The new versions of the game will bring the total cards available to play with to over 10,000. It will also add new characters to play against in the game’s various stories.

Link Evolution update

This Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution update will only hit Nintendo Switch because each other version of the game will come with everything the update adds to the Switch version. Konami explains that now players will be able to experience duels and moments from throughout the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series. Not least because there will be more than 150 opponents to play against. Among these duelists are iconic characters such as Seto Kaiba, Yubel, Yami Yugi, Soulburner, and Yami Marik.

The update will drop on March 24. Konami has also explained that the online rules will be revised in April 2020, meaning playing the game online will be exactly like playing in a real tournament. Once this update hits, this will be the definitive Yu-Gi-Oh! experience, and it’s available on the go on Switch.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
