Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition gets a lengthy overview trailer

xenoblade chronicles definitive edition overview trailer

Only a little over three weeks remain until the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. While the original game remains a treasured cult classic, Monolith Soft and Nintendo’s own Xeno-series has risen to new heights since. The game saw rereleases on New Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U eShop, two sequels followed with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 becoming a million-seller, and Shulk is now under the mainstream limelight as a household name in the Super Smash Bros. series. As such, while many players are eager to return to the realm of the Bionis, potential newcomers may still be on the fence. After all, playing through a complex JRPG is still a lengthy undertaking with an early learning curve on its gameplay. That’s where today’s overview trailer for the Xenoblade Chronicles remaster comes in!

The 7 minute-long trailer for the game goes over its premise, introduces its main cast, and breaks down its battle mechanics. Breakdowns aside, it’s also nice to see the game in action after mainly seeing screenshots over the last few weeks. The trailer also changes over to a brief look at the new Future Connected epilogue at the 5:35 mark.

With the overview trailer out of the way, only a bit longer until we get a Xenoblade Chronicles launch trailer!
