Clarification achieved: Official June 2019 launch window given for Cadence of Hyrule

Three days ago, it was reported that Cadence of Hyrule would possibly be launching this week. Since source code was being used to determine the date, however, nothing was official. Thankfully, today an Indie World showcase by Nintendo of Japan set a launch window for the rhythm title. It’s due out June 2019. Hmm, this makes the metadata of a June 20, 2019 release found by Twitter user Nibel quite interesting indeed.

No official day in the launch window but I’ll take it

As an added bonus to this confirmation, a new trailer is now available for Cadence of Hyrule:

Whoa, this game has some slick animation! I love the little beats of classic Zelda tunes, too. The music makes me want to dance at a club featuring NES music only.

In addition, it must be repeated that having Zelda as a playable character is fantastic. The princess knows a thing or two about fighting (look at how she takes names in Smash Bros. Ultimate for proof). Hopefully, our Hylian heroine will be the protagonist in a mainline Zelda game one day. No, Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon does not count. Just look at it:

Truly, a window into pure horror.
