What are you playing this weekend, enthusiasts?

The weekend is upon us at last, and for many of us, that means finally sinking our teeth into a game or two. What does that entail for you? Whether you are knee-deep in the latest release or cruising through your backlog, let’s hear what you’ve got planned.

This week, I played an embarrassing amount of Assassin’s Creed: Origins. It’s the sixth Assassin’s Creed game I’ve beaten this summer, my new favorite in the franchise (dethroning Black Flag), and an absolutely fantastic way to wrap up my time with the series for a bit. Now that it’s wrapped up, I’ve started up The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D. That’s something I’ve done more than once before, but this time I’m determined to actually beat it. I’ve loved the first few hours of the game, in which I’ve cleared one dungeon and hunted down a few bonus masks and heart pieces. I’ve got about two weeks before life gets super busy again, so I’m hoping to wrap The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D up pretty quickly and then squeeze in another game before school takes over.

What are you working on this weekend? Are you playing a brand new game, are you still hopelessly glued to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, or are you just doing some good old-fashioned backlogging? Share what you have going on in the comments.
