Wayne Brady joins the cast of The Cuphead Show! as King Dice

The Cuphead Show! Wayne Brady

The Cuphead Show! has some new talent joining its roster. Announced today during Day 5 of Netflix’s Geeked Week celebration, we learned that comedy legend and game show host Wayne Brady is lending his voice to The Devil’s right-hand man, King Dice! Though we still don’t have a release date for the show, we were treated to a brief clip highlighting King Dice as he invites someone to come on down for a chance to win on his game show, “Roll the Dice!”

It remains to be seen just how much of a role King Dice will play in The Cuphead Show!, as the show is apparently set for an 11-episode run, with each episode clocking in around 10 minutes. That said, King Dice is one of the major players in Cuphead, often serving as a stand-in for The Devil himself, so I could certainly see him playing a similar antagonistic role in the animation.

While we wait (some of us, impatiently) for The Cuphead Show! to launch, be sure to check out the clip above and let us know how you feel about Wayne Brady in this role. I, for one, think it’s a brilliant choice, and I certainly can’t wait to see more!
