Last Thursday, Nintendo abruptly released a demo and Japanese trailer for WarioWare: Get It Together!, which launches on September 10. Today, Nintendo released that trailer again in English with fantastic Charles Martinet Wario voice acting, and it provides an excellent overview of everything to expect in WarioWare: Get It Together!. Wario explains that his team was getting finished creating its latest video game when, all of a sudden, they all got sucked inside the video game. Now, familiar Wario characters have to physically complete the more than 200 microgames themselves.
Each character has different mobility and offensive capabilities, meaning they approach completing the same microgames in different ways. You can select which character you want to play as and tackle the game in two-player co-op if you wish, while other multiplayer modes are available for four players. Additionally, this English trailer highlights the Wario Cup, a rotating high-score challenge that changes on a weekly basis, to add more long-term replay value to WarioWare: Get It Together!.
I haven’t had the opportunity to play the demo, but just the trailers and random online feedback are starting to sell me on WarioWare: Get It Together!. It’s pretty rare that a WarioWare game disappoints anyone in the first place.
