Remember Koei Tecmo’s Monster Rancher? The PlayStation title had gamers entering music CDs to create unique creatures for an RPG breeding adventure. The original two games are being ported to Switch this year, though, without the CD aspect, I fail to see the appeal. Regardless, Sega is getting in on the reminiscing. Monster Rancher‘s Suezo is being added as a DLC playable character for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.
Suezo is the face of Monster Rancher, so it makes sense they are the guest representative in Banana Mania
Here’s a trailer featuring the little cyclops:
Look at them go. They are wagging their tongue like a dog.
Obviously, Suezo picks up CDs instead of bananas. Will the youth of today even know of compact discs? If not, they’ll have to ask their parents or older players. Man, I feel ancient.
Like Hello Kitty, Suezo is post-launch DLC, meaning you have to pony up the cash to add them to Banana Mania. You can buy them on October 19, 14 days after the game’s launch. They are priced at $4.99.
Enthusiasts, will you be buying Suezo and adding them to Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania? Or are you content with the roster in-game? Let us know below!
