Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will bear its teeth in 2021

Vampire- The Masquerade - Swansong delay nintendo switch

Publisher Nacon and developer Big Bad Wolf Studios have announced that Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will be launching in 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic Games Store, meaning that the level of polish could (or could not) be among the best we’ve seen when it hits the Switch.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a new game from Big Bad Wolf Studios set in the World of Darkness universe. In it players will take on the role of three different vampires, each with their own unique abilities and strengths. The story follows these three vampires just as the cities of Boston and Hartford are about to unify their blood supplies, but not everything goes to plan. Rumors of betrayal and power struggles are all over the city, and it’s down to each of these three vampires to do what they must to protect their sect in this tumultuous time.

A vampire named Hazel Iversen, also known as the Swan, has become the new “Prince” of Boston Camarilla. She rules with an iron fist to enforce the Masquerade that keeps the existence of vampires a secret.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong continues the series’s focus on choice and consequence. Every interaction you make as these three vampires will have an effect on the outcome of events moving forward, as well as Boston Camarilla’s uncertain future.

In the meantime, Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York launched for Switch earlier this year.

Started out playing Metroid 2 on the GameBoy at around 5 years-old, and now I write about games all day long. Can't play Switch and drive, I've tried. As time goes on the Switch is quickly becoming my favourite console of all time.
