Tsukihime Remake for Switch and PS4 gets new trailer and artwork

Aniplex and Type-Moon shared a new trailer for the upcoming Tsukihime remake coming to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. We also got a look at new artwork and learned about some of the voice actors during the Type-Moon Times Vol. 2 livestream that took place earlier today.

Type-Moon first announced the Tsukihime remake way back in 2008, but it wasn’t until late last year that we got an update about it coming to the PS4 and Switch alongside Melty Blood: Type Lumina. A big part of the visual novel remake is the updated artwork, but the more significant part is that it will expand on the original story routes written by Kinoko Nasu.

The remake will also include new voice acting. The voice actors revealed today were Minami Tanaka as Satsuki Yumizuka, Makoto Furukawa as Arihiko Inui, and Haruka Tomatsu as Aoko Aozaki.

The above tweet features a new artwork for the first-print limited-edition version of the game in Japan. It will go for 8,800 yen (~$80.31) for the game and a 100-page art book. The standard edition of the game will cost 7,700 yen (~$70.27).
