Square Enix has shared a new Japanese trailer for Triangle Strategy, this time opting to showcase Roland Glenbrook, a character that players will meet in-game. You can watch the trailer below. While the video is in Japanese, it features over three-and-a-half minutes of artwork and character designs to fuel your hype for the game. So, go ahead and start watching so that you can take in some of the game’s gorgeous HD-2D look.
If you played the demo for Triangle Strategy, then you’ve already met some of the characters in the above trailer, including Roland himself. The son of the now-deposed King Regna of the Glenbrook Kingdom, Roland is loyal, honorable, and ready for vengeance.
Even though I cannot understand very much of what is being said in the trailer, taking in some of the looks alone is enough to get me excited to play Triangle Strategy when it launches next year on March 4. My hope is that Triangle Strategy can succeed where Octopath Traveller failed, primarily by putting together a strong story and cast.
