Treyarch is Bringing Call of Duty: Ghosts to Wii U

It has been revealed that Treyarch are the studio that is in fact bringing Call of Duty:Ghosts to the Wii U.

Treyarch have been the studio that has always ported Call of Duty titles to Nintendo’s home consoles ever since they released World at War they then began porting Infinity Ward’s arch of Call of Duty games to Wii consoles.  It looks like this trend is set to continue.

This decision is perplexing, as it would seem that Infinity Ward is a capable studio at scaling their software to multiple systems. The two former studio heads were believed to have disdain for Nintendo, which was the reason why Activision was pushed to give Treyarch the job of handling console development for Wii.  We cannot know for sure the reason as to why Treyarch is still at the helm of handling this conversion to the Wii U, but I for one welcome their continued efforts.
