Trailer: Hisuian final starter evolutions teased for Pokémon Legend: Arceus

Pokémon Legend: Arceus hits Nintendo Switch in just a few days, changing up the classic formula in some interesting ways. The latest Pokémon adventure is set in the distant past when the Sinnoh region was known as Hisui. Previous trailers have revealed new Hisuian forms of classic Pokémon, and a new video today revealed three more…sort of. Unfortunately for Game Freak, leaks have been abundant. We’ve known for weeks now that the game’s starter Pokémon (Cyndaquill, Rowlet, and Oshawott) are getting Hisuian final evolutions, but Game Freak just now confirmed it. And strangely, the trailer doesn’t really show them off in their full glory. Regardless, you can watch it by clicking below.

Hisuian final starter evolutions

Just a teaser

Despite the title, we barely see the Hisuian final starter evolutions in this trailer. Most of it is footage of things we’ve seen before, like Ride Pokémon and Noble Pokémon battles. Near the end of the trailer, see the three starters all evolving, but the camera cuts away before their final evolutions are fully revealed. I guess Game Freak wants to keep their new looks a secret, but that’s pretty much a lost cause at this point. We’re not publishing leaked images (The Pokémon Company has been issuing copyright strikes), but you can easily find them with a quick search online. In the meantime, you can enjoy these officially released silhouettes.
