Some kind of wonderful: The Wonderful 101: Remastered is heading to Switch in May

The Wonderful 101: Remastered

PlatinumGames is seemingly incapable of providing only one piece of news on a given day. Earlier, the company announced its next IP in the “Hero Trilogy,” Project G.G. Now, MERE MOMENTS LATER, a release date has been given to the upcoming The Wonderful 101: Remastered. The upgraded title will be heading to Nintendo Switch this coming May.

It looks like most territories are getting The Wonderful 101: Remastered in roughly the same time frame

Check out the offical launch date announcement below:

This souped-up Wii U game will be available in North America on May 19, 2020, in Europe on May 22, 2020, and in Japan on June 11, 2020. It can be pre-ordered now and is priced at $39.99 for either a digital or physical copy.

The Kickstarter for 101 is still going strong and close to $2,000,000. Though I wonder: how far along was The Wonderful 101: Remastered before its Kickstarter launched? I don’t doubt PlatinumGames needed funds to complete the game. However, it’s clear the developer was working on it for some time in order to make this launch date feasible.

Enthusiasts, will you be picking up The Wonderful 101: Remastered in a few months? Have you donated any funds to its Kickstarter to make the dream a reality? Let us know in the comment field below!
