Some new The Wonderful 101: Remastered gameplay has been revealed in the game’s latest trailer. The 60-second trailer reveals some parts of the game with their remastered visuals, giving some indication of what the final product will look like when it launches.
Some sections of the trailer are recognizable from the game’s Kickstarter campaign or, you know, from the full Wii U game. This new The Wonderful 101: Remastered gameplay reflects how everything seems to be on track, and it also reiterates that it seems most of the work on this game was already done when the Kickstarter campaign launched.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered is just one of the four announcements that PlatinumGames has made or will make this year. The second announcement was Project G.G., the final game in Hideki Kamiya’s superhero trilogy, and the third was the new Tokyo studio that the company is opening.
The Platinum 4 website still has a “coming soon” label over the fourth announcement. There’s plenty of speculation around what this final announcement could be, but PlatinumGames is giving nothing away.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered launches for all major platforms, including Nintendo Switch, on May 22. What is next for Platinum on Switch must be Bayonetta 3, but we’re still waiting for updates on that one.
