I’m okay with it.  The game will be better now and fuller with the new ideas they’re going to incorporate into the game.  I have Splatoon and Xenoblade among others to get this year so I’ll save money, too. 🙂

I don’t tend to get too excited about games until they’re within a couple of months of release and there’s enough footage and preview information around to actually give me something to get excited about.  Zelda WiiU hadn’t hit either of these criteria so it’ll just stay on my ‘Wait & See’ list.  I’d much rather have fun playing the games that are out now rather than stress about games that aren’t … gaming is so much fun, worrying about a game that is over 6 months away is a waste of gaming time.

I’m not too torn up about it. Sure I’d like for it to release this year, but delaying it let’s them put more focus on their other big games that are set to release this year. I think it’s a good thing, it doesn’t overcrowd the year.

Disappointed… not angry or anything, I just thought Nintendo had finally found its way past the whole huge delays thing by involving other teams when necessary.  That being said.. I am excited that they are saying they had new concepts to put in place.  Hopefully Nintendo has some surprises at E3 to fill the hole, and hopefully they actually treat Xenoblade Chronicles X the way it deserves to be treated and push it as their HUGE game this holiday, with ads and such… but I doubt it.

Every Zelda game I remember has been delayed so no surprise! And waiting for them to make the game as good as it can be is worth the wait. I only hope they have another team working on the next Zelda game so we can have one before the end of the nx life cycle

I actually thought they were being serious about the on-time release this time around. That was foolish of me…

Seeing their Zelda release patterns..we all probably expected it. Hell I prefer a more complete and refined product than a rushed one. People are going as far as to say it’s going to be released for Nintendo’s next console though..which I find hard to believe. The Wii U still has 2 more years at least before their next console steps in.

Eli buys virtually every Nintendo title that comes out but has expanded his collection to include amiibo. He hasn't taken them out of their boxes, though, so he might be a bit insane. When not playing video games, Eli likes writing about politics and games. He also runs a decent amount. Outside.
