Like Temtem, unique puzzle game The Pedestrian received a trailer at Sony’s State of Play event today. It was revealed to be coming to PlayStation 4 in January 2021. However, on Twitter, developer Skookum Arts subsequently revealed that a Nintendo Switch version is “in the works” as well. No further details, like a release window, were included. Nonetheless, we’re more than happy to take what we can get.
Thanks! Switch is in the works 😉

The Pedestrian is distinct in that all of the game’s gameplay occurs on signs hanging up in real-world sorts of locations. You’re just a stick figure trying to get from point A to point B by traversing these different signs. To get an idea of what to expect, you can watch the new PlayStation 4 trailer below. It’s a really gorgeous-looking game on PC, and PlayStation 4 seems to carry it pretty well overall. Whether Nintendo Switch can maintain a similar level of fidelity remains to be seen.
The Pedestrian originally released for PC this past January. Our sister site PC Invasion overall loved the game in its review. Basically, it’s a pretty complete audiovisual experience, but a lack of hints could make for a somewhat punishing experience. Be prepared to put some brainpower into cracking this Skookum Arts puzzler!
