The Last Remnant Remastered gets a surprise Switch launch tonight

The Last Remnant first made strides in 2008, before getting remastered for PlayStation 4 last winter. That said, the remastered version is a PS4 exclusive no longer! Square Enix made the surprise announcement during their conference that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch. As for the release? Square is dropping the game on the eShop tonight!

The Last Remnant captured the hearts and minds of gamers with its enthralling story, countless characters and intricate battle system. Join Rush and his unlikely band of friends as they discover the Remnants and find a way to rescue his sister, Irina. It’s a timeless cult classic story available for the first time on Nintendo Switch.

Who could have seen this one coming? What are your first impressions on The Last Remnant if you never played it before? If you’re curious about the game, check out the launch trailer above, and head on over to the eShop to give this surprise release tonight.
