The Falconeer Warrior Edition soars from Xbox Series to Switch in August

The Falconeer Warrior Edition release date August 5, 2021 Nintendo Switch PlayStation 4 5 PS4 PS5 Tomas Sala & Wired Productions giant bird aerial dogfighting

Solo developer Tomas Sala and publisher Wired Productions released dogfighting-with-giant-birds game The Falconeer for PC, Xbox One, and as a launch title for Xbox Series X|S last year, but now the game is spreading its wings for new platforms. The Falconeer Warrior Edition will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 with a release date of Aug. 5, 2021. It will include all previously released DLC, as well as a new content pack, Edge of the World, which adds three more side quests and new boss encounters. The game will retail physically and digitally for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99, and it is available to preorder on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The PlayStation 5 version of The Falconeer Warrior Edition will include haptic feedback with the DualSense controller, whereas the Nintendo Switch version does not seem to have any extra bells or whistles. Nonetheless, you can expect a fully voiced adventure with different factions you can support across different missions, and you can upgrade your gear and mount by accumulating currency during play.
