Animal Crossing has been a source of comfort for many during the global pandemic. As Nintendo’s recent investor briefing shows, over 13 million people are already enjoying the game less than two months after launch. This has led to some surprising content, including a talk show and a fashion line. The latest creative crossover comes from the NFL, where the Detroit Lions used Animal Crossing to reveal their 2020 schedule.
2020 schedule revealed in Animal Crossing
Big shout out to @animalcrossing for holding it down while we wait for football season. #animalcrossingnewhorizons #acnh #animalcrossing pic.twitter.com/RcvUKq91Cb

The Detroit Lions seem to love Animal Crossing just as much as we do! After Tom Nook kicks things off, a pair of players clad in Lions apparel take a tour of the island, revealing the schedule as they go. Props are used, like a giant teddy bear representing the Chicago Bears. The whole thing is adorable, and frankly, it’ll probably end up being the highlight of Detroit’s season.
