The Binding of Isaac to get final expansion

Edmund McMillen, the creator of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac has announced the final expansion of the popular dungeon crawler. According to the McMillen’s Twitter accountRepentance will feature more content, including new story elements, soundtrack, and cutscenes.

Included in the Repentance expansion is Antibirth, a fan-made expansion that added new characters, bosses, items, and rooms to explore. The previously exclusive mod for PC will now be available to console owners when Repentance launches. The Binding of Isacc: Afterbirth launched on Switch in 2017 and featured over 100 hours of content. The critically acclaimed roguelike currently has an 85 on Metacritic, with every critic finding the game favorable. Repentance will be the third expansion for the game since its release on consoles.
