Earlier today, Bandai Namco confirmed the latest rumor that was making the rounds – Taiko no Tatsujin is coming to the west, for the first time in over a decade!
Both the most recent PlayStation 4 version and the newly released Switch version is coming west on November 2nd, 2018. We don’t know how many songs will be changed for this western release. However, it seems likely that counter to previous releases in the west Bandai Namco is focusing on bringing many of the original songs over intact. We also don’t have details for how exactly the Drum accessory will be making its way over. Both announced games will be digital only in Europe, though there will be physical copies for them in North America.
Regardless of the specifics, Taiko no Tatsujin is coming back to the west. Players should expect a 70+ song tracklist and plenty of rhythm game fun when the game sees its western release this November.
