We played Nintendo Switch Lite and walked away obsessed

Nintendo Switch Lite - Three colors on table

Back in July, Nintendo introduced the world to the future of dedicated portable gaming, the Switch Lite. Recently, we were lucky enough to go hands-on with Nintendo’s highly-anticipated new hardware. In today’s Nintendo Enthusiast video, we discuss build-quality, buttons, size, and more! The portable-only Nintendo Switch Lite is hitting store shelves September 20, 2019.

Bullet-point Switch lite impressions

  • The build-quality feels fantastic (better than OG Switch)
  • The buttons are mushier than the OG Switch
  • The D-pad bends more than the Switch Pro controller (more comfortable)
  • Games look crisp on the smaller screen
  • It can fit in your pocket (but not skinny jeans)

Another thing that stood out to everyone at the event was how much better the yellow Switch Lite looks in real life. The videos and images online don’t do it justice!

Do you plan on picking up a Nintendo Switch Lite at launch? If so, what color? Be sure to leave all of your thoughts in the comments section below, or join the discussion over on our Facebook page.
