Super Mario 3D All-Stars is Amazon’s second best-selling game of 2020

Whether it’s from fear of the mysterious limited release or just legitimate excitement over the fact that three of the best games ever made are about to be available on a portable, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is bringing in lots of preorders. Despite the fact that the game has only been available to order for four days, it’s already the second best-selling game of 2020 on Amazon, outselling everything that isn’t Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

After months of rumors surrounding its existence, many fans were more than ready to drop money on a preorder. The fact that the game is just over ten days away helps, too. While it isn’t a compilation of incredibly tricked-out remakes like we’ve recently seen in projects such as the Crash N. Sane Trilogy or recent Resident Evil revivals, and even though it’s missing Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario 3D All-Stars is still an obviously exciting package.

Have you preordered Super Mario 3D All-Stars? If not, will you do so soon? What encouraged you to preorder? Are you bothered that the collection holds little more than simple ports, or are you fine with the games as they are? Let us know all of your thoughts on the collection in the comments below.
