Super Baby 2 joins Dragon Ball FighterZ in January, Gogeta SS4 to follow

Super baby 2 Gogeta SS4 SSJ4 Dragon Ball FighterZ Pass 3 Bandai Namco Dragon Ball GT

Just the other day, Shonen Jump revealed that Super Baby 2 would be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ as part of FighterZ Pass 3, and now Bandai Namco has revealed a trailer showcasing the character in full, plus a release date of Jan. 15 for the body-possessing villain. However, one more major surprise is revealed as well: Following the release of Super Baby 2, Gogeta SS4 (Super Saiyan 4) will follow. At long last, the two best parts of Dragon Ball GT (Don’t you agree?) will be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Super Baby 2 is his evil, dominating self in the announcement trailer. As usual, I don’t have the fighting game aptitude to describe what type of fighter he works best as, but his super involves transforming into his Golden Great Ape form, which looks as epic as you would think. Meanwhile, Gogeta SS4 only gets a quick teaser at the end, not showcasing his abilities but still pushing the hype to the ceiling anyway for future Dragon Ball FighterZ reveals.

Dragon Ball FighterZ FighterZ Pass 3 now officially consists of Kefla, Ultra Instinct Goku, Master Roshi, Super Baby 2, and Gogeta SS4. We already know how many different versions of Goku are in the game, but this is only the second version of Gogeta we’re getting, following Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta. I’d been hoping for the GT version of the character for a long time, and to get him along with Super Baby 2 is pretty awesome.

What do you think of the reveals in Bandai Namco’s new announcement trailer?
