Christmas might be over, but that doesn’t mean the great deals and discounts need to end. Many retailers are offering Nintendo Switch games at a discount. GameStop and Target have games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $41.99. In the grand scheme of things, those hot first-party titles rarely see price reductions or deep discounts. So, something like this is a great deal for this solid kart racing adventure. Other highly-rated games like Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Octopath Traveler can also be yours at that price point.
Target also lists third-party titles such as NBA 2K19 at $29.99 (down from $59.99) and Just Dance 2019 for $24.99 (down from $39.99). Be sure to check Best Buy as they have many of these deals available as well. And, if you’re a completely digital gamer, the eShop has you covered there as well. Many of the same titles I listed are discounted including indie titles. Other third-party titles discounted on the Nintendo eShop include Starlink: Battle for Atlas at $29.99 (down from $59.99), LEGO DC Super-Villains at $29.99 (down from $59.99), and even the stellar Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Gold Edition at $26.39 (down from $79.99). The gold edition includes the season pass.
And, if you’re still packing your 3DS and want to pick up some hits on that platform that you may have missed, the eShop has discounts here as well. Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Party: The Top 100, and Kirby: Triple Deluxe all are discounted at $13.99 each (down from $19.99). The Nintendo eShop has noted that the savings on select titles could be up to 30%. But, also be sure to check all of your favorite retailers for discounts being offered at this time. According to the Nintendo eShop the New Year’s deals will end at 8:59 am PT on Jan. 10. So, you have just under a week to figure out what Nintendo games you want to buy!
