A new update is still being teased for Stardew Valley. The popular farming sim hasn’t seen a content update since last year, when update 1.4 launched on Switch in December. Now, game creator Eric Barone, aka ConcernedApe, has posted an important message on Twitter. After update 1.5 launches, players will be able to move their beds. Remarkable.
In Update 1.5, you can move your bed

This comes roughly a month after Barone’s last Twitter tease. That time around, changes to Willy’s Shop were alluded to. A development update was also posted, explaining the scale of update 1.5 and how it’s still being worked on. It stated: “Progress on the update is coming along steadily. It’s still in a ‘nose to the grindstone’ phase, but some good milestones have been met. This update adds a significant new piece of end-game content and much more!”
In July, physical editions of Stardew Valley were revealed. Both a standard and a collector’s edition are set to launch this November on Switch and PC. The collector’s edition contains a collector’s box, wooden standee, wooden label pin, a comic, a land certificate, and a cleaning cloth. A bonus poster is also available for those who purchase by tomorrow, Aug. 15.
Will you be returning to Stardew Valley when beds are movable in update 1.5?
