Most of our relationships with Nintendo started when we were kids. Through the eyes of a kid, the magic of a classic Nintendo title can be intoxicating. Whether you were exploring the magical, captivating worlds of a 3D Mario game, tackling a daunting dungeon in a The Legend of Zelda adventure, or beating the snot out of your friends in Super Smash Bros., many of us can point to a few key gaming memories with Nintendo greats. What was your childhood favorite Nintendo game?
Star Fox Assault takes the cake for me. Over time, I’ve come to appreciate other Nintendo games from that era more, but Star Fox Assault was simply unbeatable to my elementary school-aged self. I spent hours and hours chasing high scores in the highly replayable campaign, marveling at every secret and loving every second of action. I also have to mention the astoundingly strong multiplayer mode, which I still love to this day. With a robust game mode and plenty of creative weapons in the arsenal, my friends and I happily spent hours and hours challenging one another across a wide variety of exciting multiplayer maps.
