Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 E3 showcase revealed, airs June 13

Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 E3 showcase world premiere Eidos-Montreal Marvels Avengers Life is Strange: True Colors Remastered Collection Babylon's Fall

The all-digital E3 2021 feels like it’s going to be a wobbly and confusing time with the ESA at the rudder, but the big publishers involved seem to have their ducks in a row. Along those lines, Square Enix has announced a 40-minute Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 showcase to occur in collaboration with E3, airing on June 13 at 3:15 p.m. ET / 12:15 p.m. PT. It will occur as a keynote at E3 and on Square Enix’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. Most notably, Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 will reveal a new Eidos-Montreal title, and aside from PlatinumGames’ Babylon’s Fall, this seems to be a Western-centric E3 showcase.

Square Enix Presents Summer 2021 / E3 games lineup

  • The world premiere of a new game from EidosMontréal
  • An exciting update on BABYLON’S FALL
  • Details about Marvel’s Avengers Expansion: Black Panther- War for Wakanda and updates on upcoming in-game events
  • A deep dive on Life is Strange: True Colors™ and a first look at Life is Strange: Remastered Collection

You may notice that none of these games have been announced for Nintendo Switch, so we may be in for a bad time. Life is Strange: True Colors did receive a Switch ESRB rating a couple months ago, but that rating has since been removed. Fortunately, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake seems like a shoe-in for Switch, Legend of Mana isn’t far off from release now, and Project Triangle Strategy has the potential to be amazing next year. So Square Enix and Nintendo Switch are still fine bedfellows.

Also, if you’re wondering — that Eidos-Montreal project is reportedly a Guardians of the Galaxy game.
