Splashy Cube will slosh its way onto Switch this December

Splashy Cube for Nintendo Switch

Another indie is about to drop on the Switch, and its all about a cube—Splashy Cube. Developed by No Gravity Games, this is a new, multi-colored, minimalist puzzle adventure title for Nintendo’s indie-centric hybrid system.

In Splashy Cube, you will take control of a cube that consumes colored blobs. The goal of the game is to eat blobs of the same color while avoiding those that are a different color. All of this while avoiding obstacles like missing or broken tiles, lava, and spikes.

Splashy Cube features a variety of levels and promises to offer a simple puzzle experience that invites new players into the mix. There are also unlockable skins for the cube and a high score system so you can keep track of how well you’re performing.

Check out the gameplay trailer for Splashy Cube below:

Splashy Cube will paint its way onto the Nintendo Switch eShop on December 11, 2020—just a few short days from now. . It will have an introductory price of only $3.99. However, there are ways to get it even cheaper.

Pre-ordering the game will allow you to grab it for 20% off. But if you own any other titles from the same publisher (No Gravity Games), then you will be able to grab Splashy Cube for 50% off on release day.

The Switch has a variety of puzzle games already, but I have yet to see any particular one like this. It seems like a neat concept, so I won’t mind checking it out. And, I’m not that good at puzzlers, so the “easy gameplay” aspect of the features speaks to me. Trust me.
