Seven Knights – Time Wanderer brings the majorly popular mobile RPG to Switch today

Netmarble Seven Knights - Time Wanderer Nintendo Switch launch trailer real-time turn-based RPG standalone console entry

Netmarble’s Seven Knights – Time Wanderer has launched today for Nintendo Switch, bringing the Seven Knights franchise to consoles. The IP began on mobile, where it has racked up 60 million downloads worldwide. However, Time Wanderer is a standalone entry retailing for $19.99 ($27.99 for a Special Edition that includes a Costume Set Bundle Pack), intended to expand what the experience can be. The real-time turn-based RPG has been optimized for Nintendo Switch, with new controls, a new battle system, and zero gacha elements. Deck-building with your heroes strategically will be a part of the process though.

Story-wise, Seven Knights – Time Wanderer is “the story of the eighth member of the Seven Knights, Vanessa, and her ultimate magical equipment, a sentient hourglass known as Sandy, as she embarks on a journey to return safely home after falling into the twists of space and time.”

The Seven Knights – Time Wanderer launch trailer suggests you’ll be playing an RPG that won’t necessarily bring earth-shattering innovation, but it will bring pretty decent visuals and probably lots of nods for players of Netmarble’s mobile game. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool, but I have no prior experience with the series.

Will you be giving the RPG a shot on Nintendo Switch?
