Last week, we all lost our minds when it was revealed Sephiroth would be joining the ranks of Smash Bros. Ultimate. Finally, another antagonist to add to the game, forever tormenting poor Cloud. Gamers got a chance to see a glimpse of the swordsman’s move set during the trailer, but it wasn’t enough. Thankfully, director Masahiro Sakurai will be demonstrating Sepiroth’s abilities during a presentation tomorrow. And it looks like it will be meaty.
I can’t wait to learn all about Sephiroth and his deadly attacks
As of now, we have confirmation the demonstration will last 35 minutes. Such a lengthy runtime means we will get a ton of information regarding Sephiroth’s moves, Final Smash, and costumes. Also, maybe, just maybe, players will get the reveal of the next combatant in the second Fighters Pass. Fingers crossed for Crash or Geno!
Above all else, I am praying Sephiroth’s release date is sometime after the event. I’ve been holding off on getting Fighters Pass 2 because Min Min and Steve just did not interest me. But Final Fantasy VII‘s villain is enough to put me over the edge. Hopefully, the remaining three fighters will delight me just as much.
Enthusiasts, will you be viewing the Sephiroth stream tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT? Let us know your plans down below!
