Sacrifice Your Friends, a Lovecraftian party brawler, is coming to Switch

Publisher RedDeerGames and developer Astrolabe Interactive will bring Lovecraftian party brawler Sacrifice Your Friends to Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms at some point this year. An announcement trailer provides an overview of the game, which is for one-to-four players locally or online and involves battling it out amid randomly appearing weapons and traps. There are 16 arenas, and the horror in the game comes with palpable humor, as one would expect with a name like Sacrifice Your Friends. The game is currently available on Steam Early Access for $19.99.

As for how H.P. Lovecraft will factor into your violent Sacrifice Your Friends experience on Switch, RedDeerGames offered the following: “The Mountain of Madness or the Nameless City catacombs are places that every Lovecraft fan will definitely recognize. Story mode will take you and your friends to locations inspired by the writer’s novels. Would you prefer to explore the universe of H.P. Lovecraft by yourself? No problem. The brave one can go on a dangerous journey all alone in a single-player mode.”

Cthulhu and co. seems to show up in a lot of video games these days, so they might as well come to a party brawler next. Stay tuned for more updates on Sacrifice Your Friends on Switch as the year progresses.
