XSEED Games has announced that Marvelous’s Rune Factory 4 Special will release on Feb. 25 in North America and Feb. 28 in Europe and Australia. This follows after a delay last month that had suggested February would be the likely new release month. The Archival Edition comes with the following:

160-page art book measuring 5.8” x 8.2” featuring the works of Minako Iwasaki from Rune Factory 1 through 4, Rune Factory: Frontier, and Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny. Rune Factory 4 Special is a revamp of the original action RPG released for Nintendo 3DS in 2013. This version of the game has HD graphics, new cut scenes, a new difficulty option, and Newlywed Mode. Additionally, both English and Japanese voice acting will be included, if you’re into that sort of thing.

If you’re still on the fence about the game, XSEED will be livestreaming about the game tomorrow, Jan. 24, at 8 p.m. EST, and they’ll be giving away copies of the Archival Edition. In the meantime, have a look at a new trailer.

Tell us if you plan on picking up Rune Factory 4 Special! And don’t forget that a brand new entry, Rune Factory 5, is tentatively scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch sometime this year as well.
