Rumor: Persona 4 Golden to get a remaster in 2022

Persona 4 remaster

A mere six days ago, we brought news of a rumor regarding a Persona 3 Portable remaster in 2022. Industry leaker Zippo got fans in a tizzy over one sentence. Many either embraced the news or rejected it because it wasn’t Persona 3 FES. Regardless, Zippo is at it again. This time they are claiming a remaster of Persona 4 Golden is also coming to consoles next year.

Persona 4 Golden on Switch would be a dream come true for many

In a rather clever way, Zippo actually alluded to a Persona 4 Golden remaster when they dropped the Persona 3 Portable rumor. They posted four Ws in that post, which signified Persona 4 Golden was the next re-release from Atlus. It’s rumored to be coming to consoles next year, including Switch, though Zippo doesn’t know if 3 or 4 is dropping first. This would mean three of the seven projects are accounted for, so hopefully, even more cool stuff will be revealed in 2022. Persona 5 Royal on Switch? It isn’t out of the realm of possibility, especially if Zippo’s predictions come true.

Personally, I’d be ecstatic if Persona 3 and Persona 4 make their way to Switch. I was quite enamored with Persona 5, so I’m anxious to see what the rest of the franchise is all about.

Enthusiasts, do you think a Persona 4 Golden remaster is heading our way soon? Let us know your thoughts below.
