Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise is somehow 14 years old already, and it has a lot of fans with a lot of opinions on what has and hasn’t worked well. However, a lot of people seem to agree that Assassin’s Creed II and its offshoots, starring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, are one of the high marks for the series. Now, Direct-Feed Games is reporting that the Ezio trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch “soon,” which would suggest that Ubisoft is porting Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection.

Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection launched in 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as an enhanced collection of Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. At present, none of these games are available on Switch, but it does have Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered and Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, which contains IV: Black Flag and Rogue.
Direct-Feed Games doesn’t make things up, and Ubisoft has been a top supporter of Nintendo Switch since the console’s launch — so Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection landing on Switch in the near future seems pretty likely. Perhaps it will be one of the many announcements made at The Game Awards 2021, an event that is currently drowning in criticism for not actively condemning Activision Blizzard over its ongoing abuse allegations.
