Reporting in: TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge adds April O’Neil to the game

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge April

Gamescom has delivered on its promise. We just got a brand new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge. Surprisingly, and welcomingly, April O’ Neil has been added as a playable character to TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. In addition, a bevy of gameplay announcements were also shown.

April O’ Neil is gonna crack some skulls in TMNT

Here’s the fresh video for your eyes to see:

My goodness, it looks so awesome! April, especially. Her kicks would make Chun-Li blush. And you can tell the developers worked on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. April has a Ramona-like hammer, after all. Also, she literally dropped the mic on an enemy and killed them.

As the footage shows, players can join forces for team-up attacks. Gamers can revive each other with pizza, too (at least with April). No more needing endless quarters to conquer an arcade turtle adventure anymore.

Unfortunately, it looks like the title isn’t making its original 2021 launch. Dotemu has confirmed it will release in 2022. Bummer, dudes!

Enthusiasts, are you excited to see April O’Neil in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge? Are you counting the days until it launches in 2022?  Who is your favorite turtle? Let us know below.
