As part of the growing SEGA AGES retro collection, Virtua Racing will finally be making its way on over to the Western Switch eShop on Thursday, June 27, 2019. The game has been out for a few months now over on the Japanese eShop, but now Western players will have the opportunity to play the game without going through the loops of making a Japanese Nintendo Account.
Virtua Racing on Switch is a remaster of the original arcade game that released several decades ago. It was one of the earliest racing games to feature full polygonal 3D graphics. Now, the classic title has been enhanced with new features on Switch such as full 1080p/60FPS gameplay, 8-player split-screen, a replay mode, and online leaderboards and multiplayer.
