A few weeks ago, PDP revealed a brand-new controller for the Switch: the Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller. That name tells you all you need to know: this controller is targetted at those who like to have in-game audio chat. Unlike the Pro Controller and Joy-Con, the Faceoff Deluxe+ includes a standard headphone jack so you can plug a headset straight into the controller.
More power in options
On top of that feature, the Faceoff Deluxe+ also has two programmable back buttons for extra input options. The faceplate is also interchangeable with a variety of colors. Pre-orders have recently opened for $24.99 and the release date is scheduled for July 22, 2019. You can pre-order the controller on PDP’s official website, Amazon, or Best Buy Canada.
Keep in mind that this is a wired controller; a 10-foot USB cable is included. Wireless functionality would have been nice, but alas, that’s not the case here.
