Link’s Awakening now has a file size and digital pre-order bonus

pre-order bonus

Not only do we know the file size for one of Nintendo’s biggest releases of the year, but you can now get a pre-order bonus for the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

Nintendo of Europe has uploaded the game to the eShop and we now know that the game will clock in at a modest 5.8 GB. You may have to clear out some space on your storage, but it is well worth it. Additionally, they’re offering a pre-order bonus to anyone who buys the game digitally in advance: double the My Nintendo Gold Points when Link’s Awakening (finally) releases. Hopefully this will be a good trade-off for the lovely special editions that the physical game will be receiving.

At Nintendo Enthusiast, we’re all very excited for this remake. Link’s Awakening remains a perennial classic. Its irreverence for the source material, unique storyline, and fascinating characters have influenced the series since its release in 1993. Additionally, it’s my personal favorite game of all time, so you know that I’m eating up every little detail that Nintendo releases. Sadly, I’ve already got a Dreamer Edition on the way, so I won’t get any of those sweet pre-order bonus.

Will you be purchasing the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening physically or digitally? Does this pre-order bonus make it more likely for you to download the game? Just what is the Wind Fish, anyway? Let us know!
