Ah, the GameCube. It was everyone’s favorite, underappreciated console in the early 2000s, wasn’t it? Fortunately, if you were a fan of its controller, you know that Nintendo heard your cries. When Nintendo partnered with tech company PowerA, you could start using a GameCube controller on the Switch. And what’s better, the PowerA GameCube controller’s currently selling on Amazon for $39.99. That’s $10 off what it’d normally cost!
As far as specs go, the PowerA controller features built-in motion controls and a compatible button layout. It’s also wireless, a nifty feature for those too lazy to plug it into a Switch-compatible controller port. The only downside is that it requires batteries, but if you don’t mind buying AAs, you can apparently get 30 hours out of one use.
Nintendo Enthusiast Editor-in-Chief Brett Medlock actually reviewed this GameCube controller and loved it, if you’re on the fence!
