2021 is almost at an end, and the Nintendo Switch shows no signs of slowing down. Its games are selling a lot in the U.S. Switch titles are doing phenomenally well in Japan. Plus, the future looks bright. GameStop just revealed the Switch’s top ten pre-orders over the past few months. Unsurprisingly, the list is quite an eclectic group of games.
This Switch pre-order list from GameStop fills me with hope for humanity
Here is the official list, via GameStop email:
- Metroid Dread
- Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Double Pack
- Mario Party Superstars
- Pokémon Legends: Arceus
- Shin Megami Tensei V
- Pokémon Brilliant Diamond
- WarioWare: Get It Together!
- Doki Doki Literature Club Plus
- Sonic Colors: Ultimate
- Advance Wars 1 + 2 Re-Boot Camp
Metroid Dread being at number one is fantastic news. I hope this leads to remasters and even more new titles in the Metroid series.
Seeing the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Double Pack be so popular is also cool. I guess gamers want to have both games to play with their friends or significant others.
Additionally, I love seeing WarioWare: Get It Together! and Advance Wars 1 + 2 Re-Boot Camp on the chart. Players are hungry for dormant franchises to make a resurgence.
