Pokémon Trading Card Game Live announced for mobile and PC

Pokémon Pokemon Trading Card Game Live trailer PC mobile online

Each pack of Pokémon cards includes a code for use in Pokémon Trading Card Game Online, a service that was originally launched for web browsers in 2011. The game allows you to partake in a virtual simulation of the TCG, following the same rules featured in the tabletop version. After 10 years, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online is being replaced with Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, an upgraded version of the TCG that will be available “soon” on mobile and PC. Trainers who played the previous TCG game will be able to transfer their progress into Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, with future booster packs including codes for use in the new version.

Just like with its predecessor, this version will allow you to compete against other players. Obviously, a powerful deck will be the route to success, so you will need to think about what cards to use. New cards can be obtained by purchasing TCG booster packs or by using in-game currency to unlock specific rewards. Additionally, daily challenges will be available for the same purpose. Not much is known about these challenges, though online battle-related missions are to be expected. You will have a customizable avatar as well.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Live will be available soon on mobile and PC. It will launch in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Brazillian Portuguese, meaning you will easily find someone to battle!
