Pokémon Presents stream happening on August 18

Pokémon Presents

It seems like forever since we first heard officially about Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl at the Pokémon Presents stream back in February. It seems like even longer since we heard about Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and that was at the same event! Luckily, however, we won’t have to wait too much longer for news because a new Pokémon Presents stream has been announced for Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

The Pokémon Presents August 2021 event will start at 6:00 a.m. Pacific / 9:00 a.m. Eastern. The Pokémon Company is promising information about the upcoming generation 4 remakes as well as the historical jaunt through the Sinnoh region. It would be surprising if we didn’t get information on other current and upcoming games during the Pokémon Presents stream, as well.

Thanks to to COVID-19, many series have had to dial back their anniversary plans. Pokémon is no exception, so it’s good to see that we’re getting a mainline entry as well as an exciting spinoff to celebrate. Between Legends: Arceus and Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, there’s a lot to look forward to. And if you’re craving some monster battling action right now, you can always check out the new courses in Snap or log in to Unite for some MOBA action.

Are you looking forward to the Pokémon Presents August 2021 announcements? Anticipating any curveballs? Let us know!
