Pokémon Masters Valentine's

DeNA has released a new update for Pokémon Masters EX in preparation for future events, and an upcoming Valentine’s Day event kicks off on Jan. 29 and will end on Feb. 19. Dawn and Alcremie are being added as seasonal sync pairs alongside Serena and Whimsicott. Some preview footage has also been released, providing even more details.

The Valentine’s Day event aside, data miners have uncovered some secrets about upcoming Sync Pairs that are hidden within the data of Pokémon Masters EX. These characters have supposedly been added ahead of time, with their release windows being leaked. However, we still need confirmation from DeNA. The characters and their rumored release dates are listed below:

  • Professor Sycamore & Xerneas – Feb. 11
  • Lysandre & Yveltal – Feb. 11
  • Piers & Obstagoon – Feb. 18
  • Lear & Hoopa – Unknown

Pokémon Masters launched in 2019 and was rebranded as Pokémon Masters EX on its first anniversary last year. The game allows you to recruit iconic Pokémon Trainers from the franchise’s large roster of characters. Battles in Masters EX are 3v3 and require you to use your trainers in often strategic situations. As a free mobile game, it is a fun time sink, but be prepared to spend some money if you find yourself addicted. Pokémon Masters EX is available on IOS and Android devices.
