The Pokémon franchise is celebrating its 25th anniversary in style, with loads of exciting projects to be looking forward to. During the recent Pokémon Presents livestream, developer Game Freak spoke about the future of the video games. This resulted in the announcement of two games, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, and of course Pokémon Legends Arceus — and preorders at various retailers are increasingly open now.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are currently available to preorder on Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy in the United States. Likewise, Pokémon Legends Arceus is available to preorder at Best Buy and GameStop, with Amazon yet to go live. If you’re in the U.K., we’ve got you covered. Both the Sinnoh remakes and open-world epic are available to preorder at GAME and Amazon. However, these prices are not set in stone until an official release date is announced. This is especially true in the U.K., as the RRP for Nintendo Switch games is £49.99 instead of the advertised £59.99.
More information for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is likely to come soon, as they are expected to release later this year. If it’s anything like past launches, the Sinnoh remakes are likely to launch sometime in November. Fans will need to wait a bit longer for Legends Arceus, as the game is scheduled to release in early 2022. Are you going to preorder these upcoming Pokémon games?
