Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes get reimagined in a fan trailer that looks a lot better

Sinnoh remakes reimagined pokémon diamond fan trailer pokémon pearl fan trailer

The recent announcement of remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl has been divisive amongst the community. There are people like myself that are quite fond of the new direction. However, some fans hoped for a game that looked similar to Pokémon Legends Arceus. In my personal opinion, the Sinnoh remakes look more like modern remasters with 3D visuals. If you’re someone who is slightly disappointed with the return of the fourth generation, a YouTube channel by the name of millenniumloops has created something really cool: a reimagined fan trailer for Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes.

This reimagined trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes has visuals that are more in line with 2019’s Pokémon Sword and Shield. Throughout the video, we get a glimpse of the starter selection at the beginning of the game and much more. My favorite part of the video is when Cynthia shows up and they introduce the player to their Mega Garchomp. The comments section of the video is filled with upset fans now, since this trailer is only a proof of concept.

Although it may not be what some of you wanted from the remakes, it will likely be a nostalgia-filled trip back to the Sinnoh region. There is still a lot that we don’t know about, so it will be exciting to see what’s in store. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are expected to launch sometime in late 2021. Meanwhile, New Pokémon Snap is just around the corner.
