Adobe Analytics and its Adobe Experience Cloud have crunched the numbers on Black Friday, and two big winners are Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!. If you look at the graphic down below, you’ll find that right under Fingerlings and just above God of War are the first entries of Pokémon on the Switch.

Is this surprising? Good lord, no. Nintendo has been killing it with holiday shopping lately. In fact, according to Adobe’s related Retail Unwrapped 2018 Holiday Predictions Report, during the 2017 holiday season, “Nintendo sold more consoles last season than XBOX and PlayStation combined, accounting for 58% of all video game consoles sold,” and “Nintendo’s success was driven by [the] Switch[,] which made up nearly two-thirds (63%) of all Nintendo consoles sold.”

Keep fighting the good fight, Nintendo! Also, can someone please tell me what Fingerlings or L.O.L. Surprise even are? I’m not cool enough to be in the know about them, I guess.
