In just over one week, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (Pokémon BDSP for short) will launch on Nintendo Switch. The games are largely faithful HD remakes of the DS originals, but there are some new features. Today, The Pokémon Company launched a new BDSP trailer that revealed an expansive new area: Ramanas Park. You won’t be able to access it until you’ve beaten the game, as it rewards you with Legendary Pokémon encounters. Check out the announcement trailer below to see it in action.

Meet Legendary Pokémon in Ramanas Park
To access Ramanas Park and meet Legendary Pokémon, you’ll need to enter the Hall of Fame by defeating the Elite 4. You’ll also need to collect special slates that are hidden throughout the Sinnoh region. Each one of these plates summons a specific Legendary Pokémon. which will differ by version. The version exclusives revealed so far are as follows:
Brillaint Diamond:
- Ho-Oh
- Raikou
- Entei
- Suicune
Shining Pearl:
- Lugia
- Articuno
- Zapdos
- Moltres
The new Pokémon BDSP trailer also teased that Rayquaza will available in Ramanas Park, and the official website adds Mewtwo to the list. Finally, it revealed that you can acquire Mew and Jirachi via an NPC in Floaroma Town. To receive them, your Switch needs to have save data from Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu andPokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee, respectively.
