Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Switch listing appears

all 7 EA games Nintendo Switch EA Switch games revealed Apex Legends Lost in Random Burnout Paradise Remastered FIFA 21: Legacy Edition Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Complete Edition Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2010 Velan Studios EA Original

Last summer, publisher Electronic Arts revealed some interesting Nintendo Switch news at its EA Play livestream event. The company said it was to bring seven EA titles to Switch over the next 12 months, and we’re already halfway through that time period. It looks like the next of those games is about to be revealed, as a Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville – Complete Edition Switch listing has been uploaded by retailer Gamefly with a release date of March 19.

The listing is utterly bare right now, with no box art, game details, or anything else except for the game name, a Switch logo, and that Electronic Arts is publishing it. When EA revealed its plans, we thought Plants vs. Zombies in some form was a no-brainer, a game that would really fit on Switch.

Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Switch

This lines up with previous reports too. Shortly after EA’s reveal, VentureBeat reported that it knew of all the upcoming EA Switch games, and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville was among them. It also cited Lost in Random, the subsequently released┬áNeed for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and a still unannounced EA Original from Velan Studios (the developer of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit).

For those unaware, the Plants vs. Zombies series took a turn towards third-person action last generation with the Garden Warfare series. Battle for Neighborville is a continuation of that style, launching in late 2019 on other platforms. If this retailer listing is indeed true, Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville – Complete Edition will mark the series’s debut on Nintendo Switch.
